Questions and Answers:
How do you together line spacing when it is already set at single line?
Am using Microsoft office 2007 and I am preparing to write a resume. On another resume that I had downloaded, the template's line spacing is right underneath the next line. I started my resume by formatting the line spacing to single before I started, but it will not space directly under the next line. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Answer: Could be either of two things: 1. Paragraph spacing above or below (more likely) 2. Font has built-in spacing that cannot be removed as a quick fix for addresses, you can use newlines (shift+enter) instead of full returns (enter).
I have two phone lines in my house. How do I switch the jacks from one line to another myself?
Just moved into a new house that has 10 phone jacks. When the phone service was turned on, the only activated jack was in the kitchen - not a convenient location. Apparently, since there were two lines previously in my place, ABC activated the one that was most recently shut off. I called ABC and they said that I could either pay them to come out and fix it by switching the active line over to the other jacks, or I could find the junction box and switch the lines myself. Any idea how to do this?
Answer: There should be a box outside of your house specifically for the phone lines. All you have to do is be sure the main line that you use is the only one plugged into the box.
How does the pilot line up the runway from where they can't see the runway? What is distance for line up?
E pilot line up the aircraft from such a distance, that it's not possible to see the runway, than how they manage to line up the center line of the runway?
Answer: ACT gets them in line far out issuing vectors utilizing radar. In low Vi's and close to the Rwy gaps, Navy radios w. Glide slope /localizer, Dem, etc to gives visual clues on the face of the instruments assisting the pilot to the Rwy.
How much does it cost to add a line to an individual plan for Verizon wireelss?
Want to add a line to my sister's individual basic plan. Someone told me it costs $10 to add a new line, someone else told me it costs $20 for the first line added and $10 for the the next lines added. Also, the website offers free phones. Will I still qualify to get them for free? Someone told me that it's only free for the first line and that all the next lines added aren't free.
Answer: You can't. Your sister would have to switch to a family share plan and then add your line. The lowest price point is the family share with 700 minutes. It would be $60 for your sister's line, and then $9. 99 for each line thereafter. The next one up from that is 1400 minutes, and that's $80 for your sister's line and $9. 99 for each line thereafter. It all depends on how many minutes you need. Also, if you want unlimited testing, then there's whole other set of plans for that. There are a number of free phone for new lines that you can qualify for. I would check this out for the plans and have a discussion about it with your sister: http://www. . Com/b2c/splash/planfamily. What is the line to ground voltage in a delta wire configuration?
Know that for three phase, to find the line to ground voltage you have to divide the line to line voltage by the sq rt of 3. Does the same apply for a delta wire configuration?
Answer: That depends. There are 3 different delta configurations used for services from power companies in the us. If it is ungrounded, then there is no fixed voltage, but the phase to ground voltage is considered to be the same as line to line for insulation and the like. Ground fault detectors are needed to dietetic if a ground fault occurs. Another option is a corner grounded delta, where one of the 3 phase conductors is grounded. The voltage to ground of the other 2 phases is then the line to line voltage. Another option, used to be more common (our local power company does not do this for new services) is a hi leg delta or center of one phase grounded. This grounds the center of one phase like a single phase split phase service. For example, with V delta this will give V phase to neutral. This is not the same neutral as a Wye, but it is considered a neutral and is grounded. Two of the phases have V to ground or neutral, but the RD phase is V to ground (that is the hi leg). It is only used as part of 3 phase loads (208v single phase loads are never used for that). The newer way to get V from 3 phase is with a V Wye that has V phase to neutral.
