Answer: I think you are awkwardly stating something obvious. About half the global population is 0% female, and almost everyone is at least a little bit intelligent (i. E can have rudimentary thought processses). However, "fifty percent. . . Female" is not a complete sentence, it is a noun phrase. I'm sure that's not how you meant it, and it could be fixed by simply eliminating the word "who. " also, spell out the words "you" and "why. " don't use the letters. That's pathetic.

How would you calculate 50% increase on a surcharge imposed by the college your attending?
E college that I am attending stated that there will be a "50% increase on the surcharges" (charges that are imposed by the university). What does that mean? How would I calculate that? Would I add or multiply. 50 to the current charge?
Answer: If it is increasing by 50%, then multiply the current surcharge by 1. 5 to get the new surcharge. Example. If the surcharge were $100, then multiply $100 by 1. 5 to get $150, which is your new surcharge. I would hate to think what they are teaching you at this university if you can not do basic math.
